Things I Wish I Knew Earlier

Looking back, these are a few things I wish I’d understood earlier on my journey:

• I used to expect constant progress, but I now understand that healing often unfolds in its own time.
• Slowing down and releasing control has taught me more than trying harder ever did.
• Letting go of needing everything to make sense has brought more peace than searching for answers.
• What will be, will be — trusting life has been just as important as trying to change it.

• Valuing myself has meant choosing peace over proving or explaining myself.
• Presence isn’t something I achieve; it’s something I gently return to, again and again.

• I’ve learned to let things be — if something isn’t meant for me, I no longer chase it or force it.

• Not everything needs a reaction; sometimes space is the answer.
